Going Green! :D

Yes, I'm going GREEN!!!!! =P

I find it really important for everyone to go green today, and you should start with reducing the usage of plastic bags.

Plastic bags are not recyclable, and most plastic bags are not bio-degradable. We use lots of plastic bags for daily use (as garbage bags and shopping bags, for example). There are approximately 26 million Malaysians and the population is still growing. If everyone uses a plastic bag a day, there will be 26 million plastic bags used. But we don't only use one plastic bag a day, right? So, there will be more than 26 million plastic bags used everyday.

When you go out for a shopping spree or grocery shopping, bring some canvas bags along with you. Say "no" to plastic bags and put your purchases in the canvas bags instead. Anyways, canvas bags to day are quite fashionable and they can be washed and reused. :)

If you are taking out food from food outlets, bring your own Tupperwares instead of using Styrofoam boxes to package your takeaway. This is quite hard cause sometimes we ought to forget and we are lazy people too, right? :D I admit that I am still trying to practice this, but if you want to reduce the usage of Styrofoam boxes, just dine out. You don't need to do the dishes, anyways. x)

I have so much more to say, but I'm running out of time. I still need to finish up my EST project (it's a useless subject to me). Oh, and blogging is considered part of my English homework weekly, thanks to Miss Azrina for making us write journals (or blog for those who has a blog) at least once a week. Yay!! Now I have a reason to blog every week (if Mom and Dad allow), or else I'll just write.

Pictures from last Saturday. :P

Finally. The perfect Monkey's Fist after 6 attempts. Seriously, you will go nuts taking out the complicated knots if you made a mistake.

A picture of me with Tze Herng. He has retired from being our ASM to pursue his studies in Australia. Good luck with everything in Australia. :)

And thank you, Chiet Chun, for giving me and my sis a ride home last Saturday. :)

Something that I had not done in a long time: random photographs!
