Koalas, Kangaroos, Pinnacles And Sand Boarding.

Miss my wide smile?   :D

Blogger is being good today. I uploaded the last few pictures in less than 15 minutes, so yeah, the update on our fourth day in Perth. Hope this help you take off your stress for the weekend.  :)

After breakfast, we walked down the street to the pick-up spot and register of our trip that day. We were going to a wildlife park, see something called pinnacles and sand board! What an exciting day, huh?

A lovely sunny morning.

We visited the Caversham Wildlife Park.    :P

As soon as we hopped off the bus, I was shaking cause it was windy and I was wearing shorts. But thank goodness for the heat from the sun, I was warmed up in no time. Phew.

Our first stop: The koala's home. Let the koala madness begin.   xD

They are such cute animals!!!!!!!    :D

Yours truly stroking a sleepy koala.

Me and Sis with two sleeping koalas who didn't mind.

Chien Chien Jie Jie.   :)

Sis. Chien Chien Jie Jie.

Sis found her new "kawan".

I heart koalas.    x)

Passed by this cute rat on the way to our next stop.

Our second stop: The home of the kangaroos. Start hopping!

A very curious kangaroo sniffing around when we came in.

More curious kangaroos sniffing our shoes.

Dad loves to camwhore.

Mom with Grandma behind.

Got food from the zoo guide for the hungry kangaroos.

I can never get enough of them.   xD

Grandma and Sis.

Sadly, Chien Chien Jie Jie was afraid of them.

Look at the white kangaroo!!!! One of a kind.

8)

Sis love them like mad. She even hopped with them.

This white kangaroo NEARLY licked my DSLR's lens.  O.O

Mom and Dad surrounded by a sea of kangaroos cause they were the last ones left with food for them. Wakakakakakaka.

Self portrait with a kangaroo.   :)

Here's the prove that shows Sis hopping out of the kangaroo's home.

I took this pic on the way to meet the wombat next. Check out the cute zoo guide. Click to enlarge.  *grins*

Stopped by the joey's nursery before visiting the wombat.

Dad, Mom and me plus with the very sleepy wombat.

Grandma was daring enough to touch it.

Footprints.

Cute toilet door.

As retarded as usual.

We left the zoo and stopped for our picnic lunch next.

My lunch for the day.

Somehow, I love this shot.  :)

Sis' lunch. She claimed that her sandwich is higher than the ang moh lady sitting behind us.

The contents of the delicious sandwich.

Dad.

Haha.

Sis eating a slice of orange cause Mom forced her to.

Mom and Sis with the cool four-wheel drive bus.

Headed to the Nambung National Park next.

The bus.

A signboard at the doorway.

I don't know what is this but it is cute.

Mom half-posing.

Okay, so this is what you call pinnacles. They are just tall stones with special names.

Group pic.

Then, our tour guide took us down to the dessert for a walk following the tracks. Grandma did not follow us cause the paths are uneven and the condition of her legs are not so good.

My idea to take a pic like this, but the pinnacle was about 6 feet tall and I couldn't reach it, so Dad helped me to take this. He had to tiptoe, too.   :D

Piggyback rides.

The ladies.

A long walk ahead.

We went up to the dessert view to take some pics. Then we went down and continued our walk.

A spectacular view.

We hugged a pinnacle!

I bruised my knees and elbows when I lied on the ground to take this pic.

Sis taking a break for only a few seconds.

Some cute flower which look like an ice-cream from far.    xP

The cute flower got both Mom and I amused.

We assembled at the car park where the bus was parked and waited for others who were still in the washroom and souvenir shop. After everyone arrived, we left the national park and begin the long journey to the sand boarding place.

I was asleep, so I didn't know where were we until our tour guide on the speakers and spoke on the mic. Then, he did this so SUPER AWSOME thing. You know what he did? He did this......

The bus going up the hill.

Sis getting all excited. LOL.

Here we go!!!

Took this pic when the bus was.......

..... like this. Hanging in mid-air!!

I miss the super awesome free roller coaster ride.  :(   :(

We went up and down steep slopes of the sand hills for numerous times. And there was once those who wants to take pics of the bus doing the awesome "roller coaster" ride downhill and there's where I got those pics.

We stopped by a nice spot and took more pictures.   :P

Dad, Mom, Sis.

Chien Chien Jie Jie, Dad, Mom.

Hills and more hills of sand by the Indian Ocean.

Mom and Dad with our tour guide/super-awesome driver of the day, Keith.  :)

Keith stopped at the bottom of a hill and we got out of the bus. Sand boarding time!!!!! He explained to us the way to sand board and how to use the board. Then, off we go! There are only a few pictures of us sand boarding cause the wind was blowing so strong and I didn't want my camera to be filled with nothing but sand. Only me, Sis, Mom and Chien Chien Jie Jie sand board. Dad chickened out when he was halfway up the hill. Grandma just watched us in the bus with the others who isn't able to sand board.

I kept putting my hands on the sand cause I was so afraid I was gonna flip over and roll in the sand. Sis wasn't worried, so she ended up looking cool in the pictures.  -.-

Chien Chien Jie Jie who has a fear for heights tried too, only once.

We only sand board for a couple of times. At the last round, this dude was sand surfing and he didn't even roll down the hill! He has amazing skills. Oh, and by the way, that dude was travelling alone and he is kinda hot. After shaking off the sand off our clothes, we left the place.   :(

We stopped by a petrol station to wash up and I got fries cause I was S-T-A-R-V-I-N-G! The fries was good.  :)

Sorry for the blur pic, it was a bumpy ride. But the sunset was really beautiful. Breathtaking.

We arrived back in the City Centre after 8 pm. Me, Mom, Chien Chien Jie Jie walked to the Korean store beside the Korean restaurant we dined on our first day and bought cup noodles before heading back to the hotel while Sis and Dad walked further down another street to takeaway some Chinese food. Showered after eating and fell asleep with the book on my face.

End of Day 4. Stay tuned for the next update, hopefully posted up after the mid terms along with the updates about camp and Mother's Day celebration.    :)
