morning people!
wanna tell you people about my Hari Raya break. as all of my muslim friends balik kampung, i was trapped in the house doing house chores, revision, watch tv, eat, sleep, more revision...most of the time i watch tv. i wish i could go back to malim nawar, kampar to visit my maternal grandparents. i really miss them as i didn't go back often to visit them. i was carried away by school homework, projects and tuition homework. sigh... i really miss them....
oh yea, me and sis cut our hair short. (cut it on monday, 15/10/2007, sis cut it yesterday, 18/10/2007) my mum cut for us! =D (did i even tell you guys that my mum work at her friends saloon before?) she's really professional. she cut our hair bob style. at first, i kinda dislike it because i have trouble combing my stubborn hair. it just won't stay! untill... my mum came to the rescue! she taught me how to comb it. (thanks mum!) and my mum and i discussed for some time whether i should have a fringe or not. my mum told me it's not so suitable. so, my decision is....no fringe!! XD
my mum's birthday falls on the 17th of october. my sis and i have a plan for a very long time. we wanna buy her a Jamie Oliver book. she LOVES Jamie Oliver! yeah, she's obsessed with him. but we have lots of problems. main problem: $$. (financial problem). yup, we have not enough money to buy her the Jamie Oliver book that she wants. she wants "Jamie At Home". i checked the price in both Popular Bookstore and MPH. the book costs RM 135.00. it's so bloody expensive. ended up, we decided to buy her "The Return Of The Naked Chef" which only cost us RM82.50. so, on the night before mum's birthday, dad drove me and sis to Sunway Pyramid 2's Popular Bookstore to get her gift. plus, we get 10% discount as i own a membership in Popular. after that, we went home straight away and pray hard that mum was not back from work. unfortunately, she reached home as soon as she reached home!! my mind went blank. luckily, dad have a plan. he dropped me back at home and drove sis to buy the night chinese newspaper (what he always do regularly). so i told mum that he went to get the paper and guess what, she didn't even suspect anything! XD then, dad came back and mum was about to go to her yoga class. so dad waited for her in the car and sis sneak into the house queitly, holding the book. thank god mum didn't see what sis was holding! *phew!* so, as soon as she left for her yoga class, we quickly wrap the book and make a card for her. dad came back buying a card cause he didn't know that we wanted to make a card for her. but we didn't waste his money. we used the card that he bought and still make our own card. we stoped making the card as soon as mum came back from her yoga class. we did the card in our room, so we hid everything under my bed and pillow. oh boy, my bed did look bulky. so i unfold my blanket and mess up my bed so that it won't be so obvious. we waited for mum to sleep before we continue making the card. in the meantime, both of us played Quadrapop! *heehee* mum slept at 12 something. we went to the study room to do the card as soon as she slept. we tried our very best to keep quiet, but we make quite an amount of noise. we're so lucky that mum didn't wake up. we finished 2 cards around 1.40 am (one tiny card to slip into the book and another personal card from both of us). sis did most of the job. she designed it creatively and cut the papers. i did help her too. a bit. but that still counts right? :)
the next day arrived. sis woke up very early to leave the gift in the car that she and dad is gonna drive to work. the gift was in the car savely. so, before mum and dad left for work, mum thank sis for the gift. i woke up right after my parents left (woke up around 10 cause of last night's work). sis told me mum loves the present and the cards. i was glad. the hard work did paid off. mum brought back her birthday cake. it was from her staff. it taste so good! it's her favorite cake, tiramisu.
i injured myself on mum's birthday... my left arm. "long story" though.... *haha* it was 1.30pm, 17th october 2007. me n sis were watching the repeat of Amazing Race 10 on AXN. i was eating lunch. then, i send in the dirty dishes to the kitchen as there was an advertisment break. when i was finished with the dishes, it started. then, my sis shouted from the living room "OMG, it's James and Tyler!!!!!!" i LOVE them so much (they're hot guys and they model!), that i ran from the kitchen extremely fast that i didn't realise that i knocked my left arm on the edge of the glass table. so much for catching hot guys on tv. wow... my left arm swell badly, bigger than my previous bee sting. hurts badly till today. then, later that day about 3.00pm i prepare for my tuition class with my sis, yee fung and ainaa. in the car on the way to tuition (the 4 of us takes transport), yee fung and ainaa saw a bandage on my left arm. they started to question me. so, i told them the "long story". they think it's kinda hilarious that i injured myself that way... then, yee fung asked me, "so, now your arm hurts or the guys are way hotter?" that made everyone cracked up! even i did. what i replied? "my arm, duh!!! what do ya think?" that made everyone laughed again... *lol* i LOVE James and Tyler from The Amazing Race 10!!!!!!*hahahahaha*
well, now i' m watching tv. shucks, look at the time. i gotta go. i need to do the laundry. if not mum will kill me when she gets back from work. feel free to send in comments! :) toodless!!!
