July 4 2008: Girl Got Hit By A Softball
During PE Lesson.
The girl missed the throw and the softball hit her hard on the mouth. Blood started flowing like the running tap in her mouth. Tears came rolling down on her cheeks, fast. She called for help, and one of her friend brought her to the canteen to get some ice. The pain was so incredible that she couldn't hold back her tears. Back in class, she had difficulties to talk, smile, laugh or even sing. Drinking water and eating gets harder for her. Thoughts came into her mind. "Will the swell go away fast?", and, "Will my two front teeth be shaky? Oh boy, don't tell me that I need retainers!!!" She's just being paranoid, like how you will if it happens to you. Though, things got better at home. The swell wasn't that bad. Her two front teeth didn't hurt that much. But... One of her front teeth went a little bit inwards. Panic strikes her. Then, she text messaged her pal to seek for some opinions. She went off to bed after her friend reassures her that everything will be fine. She did not have a good night's sleep. She tossed and turned but she couldn't sleep. The pain in her mouth is bothering her from sleeping. Finally, when the sun was about to rise, she falls asleep. And woke up about 10 am.

The girl is... me! Yes, surprise!!! LOL. It's really painful, as painful as a punch (or more than that) on your mouth. And I have Angelina Jolie's and Janice Dickinson's lips now. Yeah, my lips are that swollen! Well, maybe more swollen than that. And my sis said that I should appreciate my Angelina Jolie/Janice Dickinson lips cause I got their thick, smoochy lips without Botox. Ha-ha. Very good one. I'm not really appreciating it cause I could barely smile, laugh, sing and talk. I'm like an emo kid now... Oh well. I think it would get better somehow. Maybe in a few weeks time...
And I told myself yesterday not to play softball anymore (unless I'm playing with a professional player or someone who's very experienced in the sport). And for now, I'm just trying to keep myself from any other injury. Hopefully the swell on my lips will subsidise as soon as it can.
Okay, nothing really much to blog about. So yeah, all the best for my nasty injury. Take care, stay away from anything that can cause an injury and be happy!!!! Bye, everyone.
P.S: PLEASE EVERYONE, pray for Mr. Guna, who had a more serious injury than I do. I heard that he fell from the roof or ceiling while fixing something. He's still in a coma. Pray for him, and hopefully he will be awake soon.
