PICK. IT. UP!

What a busy week. Here's a little dose of my tiring week.

Monday, March 23

Had Choral Speaking practice the whole day. Tiring. Then, head off for Add Maths and Maths tuition classes in the evening.

Tuesday, March 24

Had Choral Speaking practice until the fourth period only cause our Headmistress did not allow us to skip classes. Yeah, sad case, huh? Went for History tuition class later that night.

Wednesday, March 25

Had Choral Speaking practice the whole day. Then, went for librarian duty until 4.30 pm. Head off for Physics and Chemistry tuition classes right after duty. The crazy marathon day of the week, I'd call it.

Thursday, March 26

CHORAL SPEAKING COMPETITION!!!! Competed against eight schools; SMK Subang Utama, SMK Subang Jaya, SMK USJ 12, SMK USJ 4, SMK Bandar Sunway and a few other schools. SMK USJ 12 and SMK USJ 4 were really good. I was nervous when we were in our lines, preparing to go on stage. My hands were clammy and my legs were shaking. And I forgotten one head action. Embarrassing....

When the head judge was giving her comments, we listened attentively. Then, she moved on to the results. We all held hands, hoping that we will at least get a placing. SMK USJ 4 was the first-runner up. We felt intensity in the atmosphere. The hall was in pin-drop silence.

"And the champions are.........
(there was a long pause in between)

PICK IT UP!!! (Team 5, SMK Seafield)"

The hall was erupted with piercing screams. OMG, we won first place! That was quite an achievement! Good job to Team 5 (Seafield) for an awesome performance. Yeah, Jon Ho, we blew the judges' hair away!  HAHA. Our hard work paid off.

My first trophy won in high school. Love it to bits. Heh.

Performed one last time for the audience. Everything ended about 11.55 am. Julia and I planned to go to Physics class and show off our trophy. Puan Goh was happy for us, and she didn't even scold us for not bringing any Physics books. We did not want to stay in class until 1.10 pm, so we decided to hang around in the canteen. Had lunch an chit chat with Joanne and Julia. Went home and did research for Spare-Time Assignment (STA) for Scouts about the Ministry of Youth And Sports and a little bit of homework until 11.30 pm.

Friday, March 27

Stayed back after school to do the STA with Kelly, Wen Hao, Justin, Guat Teng and Xiang Qi. Finished at about 2 pm and slept in the canteen while waiting for Yee Fung to finish choir practice until 3.30 pm. Continue my beauty sleep and went online for awhile before leaving for Biology and BM tuition classes.

While we were studying Biology, the lights went off. The whole street had a blackout. Wee! No tuition! We packed up and left. While waiting for my parents to come, me and Yee Fung walked to the burger stall at the corner of the street to get out dinner. Guess who we met at the burger stall? Zen Wei! It was such a coincidence. He had just finished his tuition class and he grabbed a burger while waiting for his mom to pick him up. We chatted while waiting for our burgers. Yee Fung paid for our burgers. Yeah, she was such a sweetheart to pay for mine along. Then, we went to a mamak to wait for my parents to fetch me home. Our tuition teacher belanja-ed us. Woohoo!

Mom and Dad came in two separate cars. Mom was driving her new white BMW 3 series! It is soooooooo beautiful! Went home to change cars, and dropped by Summit to get some stuff. Reached home after 10 pm. Changed to my jammies and read a few pages of Jodi Piccoult's Perfect Match before sleeping.

Today. Arrived in school for Scouts. Did our STA presentation. My patrol did a really good job presenting, despite the fact that we did not really know what the Ministry of Youth And Sports is all about. After that, had marching practice for Sports Day. Sir David dropped by school and he "tortured" us Remajas. We had "hentak kaki" for more than 500 times today. Yes, this is not a joke. For the first time in 4 years, I felt like passing out while doing an activity in Scouts. Maybe I was too tired. Plus, the weather was really hot that time. Went home after 12 pm.
